While Nina had a ton of fun playing in the waves (on her smallest wing, a 2.5), I was a bit overpowered on my 5.0, and using the HPS 1050 turned out to be a rather questionable choice, too. Spend the session learning how to not get kicked out by the waves with some but limited success. Stayed on the inside since the wind seemed to be a few knots stronger once past the pier, and I had my hands full already on the inside. Stopped after an hour when my legs were getting rather tired from all the getting up after crashes, and had a beer while waiting for Nina to finish her 3 hour session, which left her with an ear-to-ear grin that remained stuck for hours.
