M95 25 ws simmer 5.8m

Rigged hoping it would fill in and thought yep I should of rigged to the conditions, It eventually picked up and headed over to point grey where Boz flagged me down to do runs into the smooth, Top call Boz managed to grab a gust for my 2sec.

Great to see Rob, Barry, Mike , Boz and later Ant heading out as I was heading in.

Fun in the sun.Not a lot of energy today. Burnt some of it chasing my board which separated from the rig.Hard work in the thick ooze.

Best sail in a long time, couldn't ask for a better day, did a few runs down to the platform. Slaped with Annie and Alby, Paul, Wing Ding Hardie and a 1,000 other Trendsetters 

Had to race home early as it was Happy Friday drinks with my Child Bride, life's good.

Coodanup, WA, AU CA63 LSB 5.8 Fangy 22 Sunny, nice tide and light to moderate breeze. Sailed with Gloria, Greg and Pas. Breeze was a bit underwhelming but adequate, barely. Had intended to do five nm runs but knocked a hunk of bark off my forearm after I ran aground at the top of the run so called it. One of those days. 

Fun day at liptons, found some smooth but the gusts eren't getting in there very often.

Had the 60cm board with 5.7 speed and 23cm@40/60.

Barry, Remery, slugger, boz and ant for company. 

I'll have to work up the courage to cross the channel, aparently it was better over there, more smooth to sail in

What a day, woke up this morning and my mate had f'ked off, finally after a week of fun and friviolity a clear(ish) head.

Got down to Novara to find people sitting around and the wind gusting to almost a knot.

Sacrificed the light wind wizards, Bob went out on his CA which he forgot he had, after about half an hour, I had  realisation that I hadn't seen him for a bit, looking in his favorite hole where he likes to waterstart, he wasn't there, a glance out past the platform had a hint of yellow, the Bob had achieved his season want and had sailed out past the platform, he came back, then did it again so thought I'de better pull a finger or two out and get rigged.

Whilst rigging Noticed Annie was belting around out in the middle.

Hit the water, had an extended chat with Bob who was grinning like a loon whilst waiting for the wind reapear.

Eventually took off, Picked up weed, Bob passed me and I went tits up. Clear the fin, shift the harness lines then try (unsuccessfully) to keep up with the old bugger. Way to much mast foot pressure.

Still sailed up past the platform, Bob kept going, so did I all the way over to Claudsville, which was very pleasant indeed.

Sailed back tacking upwind high into Cox bay getting brain damage as the board was getting slammed into the water over the chop which there was lots off.

Another long run out to Claudesville and back fell off with the gybe at the western end so quick couple of adjustments, which helped free up the board a bit.

Two more long runs out and back with the last one a downwind send of +7km was to be the end of the session but when I got there saw that I had 58km on the clock so thought another quick run down to the chanel and back to get the 60 up, then it was If I go to the platfom and back that will get me almost to 70,  then if I go back out to Claudesville again the 70's do-able.

Another long send on the way back and that was it, well happy with that, Thanks Bob for showing the way.

Next time I'll put the proper downhaul on.

   Nice sail at coodanup ,   Havent quite got my   7m  overdrive   tuned in yet, as its the therd time out with it   ??  Anyway thats my excuse ,

and I'm stiking to it,      .    And I should have saild 5 more minutes and got a 19 hour,,,   but had to get going .
