Shane (19971km):
10 hours ago 2 categories A wobbly Westerly at Wellington Point in behind the Sandbank. Turned out to be quite a consistent wind for a Westerly. Sailed the afternoon shift on the ebb tide behind the sandbank, though wave action rougher than expected due to wind direction. Difficult to get good speed runs as the kiters fully occupied the flat water space. Out with Nick Woods and John Scott (who got the better flat water on the rising tide behind the sandbank in the late morning).
