JP SLW, NP RSR Evo X 7.8m, NP RSXMWS.

Dawesville, nobody there when I got there hint of whitecaps out on the chanel, Snides and Cheryl turned up, got to rigging.

Still looked light in close to shore with a hint of whitecaps out in the middle.

Sacrificed Cheryl, who did one run and came back stating she was overpowered, Snides went out with a 4.5m wave sail and a freeride foil he was testing which had him weaving all over the place. he came back and changed foils stating there was quite a bit of breeze.

Oh dear, I could be in trouble with the 7.8m.

I went out, managed to water start (not a good sign for foiling), got moving and promptly got hit by a swirly which put me back in the water.

Take two, got going got foiling, WTF? did all these whitecaps come from????? the sail is suddenly a rather large hand full to be controlled, survived the trip over, gybed(ish) went to get going a gust got me smashed my shin on something solid on the way to getting wet. Got going again, in the footstraps woishing for the wonderfull control I was experiencing on the way accross but it wasn't to be, just brown trousers all the way back.

Went back to base with the thought of taking the foil of and putting a pointer in, back on shore this idea was shelved when the heavans decided to open up and unload on us.

The red fur needs a bit of a dry out after that lot.

Good times
