Nice to see a 40 been a while, cold and brutal conditions today with a heap of South in the wind. Took off from Rushi but probably would have been better from Lilacs as the return run ro Rushi side was brutal with the board being lifted. Fastest runs on Port Tack which is differant for Albany. One thing it got so glarry on the water you couldn't make out if it was small chop or large chop, sending it blind as a bat got the heart pumping.

Massive white out while Ronni and I where heading back towards Rushi, both of us had to put the sails down, lasted 15 minutes of just spray flying everywhere, couldn't see Albany was like being in a thick Fog, no rain just persistant 45-50knots just spraying water. People on the shore must have thought we where mad.

Great sailing with the big Fella, even though he doesn't like Port Tack think he managed a PB on that tack. Bit of a mission to get back to Rushi lucky we called it when we did as it would have been a long walk.

What an brutal sw sail this was with Boz. at one stage i thought Albany was gonna freez over. We had to lay low in the middle of the harbour

(knee deep on the bank) for 15min so this squall blew over. It was just insane Laughing

For me this is an pb on porttack 2s, 5x10 and nm. happy with that. We couldnt do down wind runs starboard what is my preferd tack. Also very happy for Boz to get an 40. Well done mate.

As i am writing this(4.30pm) the wind is still gusting 40+ kn and tide has drop to glass of but we are to buggered .Yell

Maybe more tomoz or monday

First session in a while at the chook pond. Had enough breeze to sail in then just waiting for wind.. after 2hrs or so a little squall came, enough to sail out. Really good to catch up with the legends Kai,Ant, Mark and Chris

Next time.....

Very brave you 2 and well done Boz on getting a 40 😎 Don’t worry it was bloody cold up here to but I’m sure the stronger wind you had in Albany made it feel even colder. Good luck tomorrow and Monday, hope you both get some PBs 💪
