Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. McKee VX1 Hyper 53.5w 87ltr. SV 5.0, FF18. It was not fast, but fast enough to tick the box, the minimum I wanted to do today so I'm happy with that. Got heebeejeebeed out well before the front arrived talking to someone and the conversation went to crashes, then videos of crashes, then the day and saw a few crashes just as going out. If Byron spilled blood then really I did pretty well. Stoked that Mitch took HYPER for a ride and I did the next best thing to windsurfing, film windsurfing, like sailing without getting wet. I had trouble getting off the bottom, Mitch said he also did on the board. So did many others. Magicians don't care, they just keep on fangin the flat non stop. Saw some awesome sailing out there. Well done everybody, nice to have a chat to St George crew and the regulars.

CA44, 17cm nuclear and warp 5.8. Then a few runs on the FF79
Super gusty north west, very shallow in the flats.
Went out on the CA44, but it was the wrong choice, it was too off and on and so difficult to get started in the shallows.
I didn't last long, got tired very quickly so had to call it a day.
Plenty of people out all going hard.
