Point Grey, WA, AU. Fickle wind sailing in almost no water with the Mighty Mouse of Danger. Hard to believe even less water today (tide was 0.34) but wind direction initially was NW so nice long runs with just enough puff. Wind spun westerly so runs a lot shorter. Initially Danger Mouse chose to do short runs too and I thought he'd changed his dangerous ways but then suddenly disappeared....eventually I spied his sail heading to Yunderup this time. Wind eased off to chug fest so came in. Danger Mouse eventually returned but chose to sit on the board and wait. We were both about to call it when bam, wind came back and DM was off getting speed of the day, by the time I got back out the gust had gone. Looked like DM was trying for the KA72 Slalom and was now way downwind at the point. Seemed like a crazy day to try in this fickle breeze but like his bumbling sidekick Penfold I too tried one attempt. A fun but fickle session with Flex down at Boombas. As he's mentioned, I was about to call it then wind picked up and we had a couple of nice runs. Didn't quite make it to Yunderup but managed a half decent naughty with one of the few gusts that came through. Nice being out and enjoying the sunshine and nature.

Nice full red arrow on SB session. Mostly 8-13kts and speeds in the low 20s... then there were a few puffs later that got juicy. Awesome fun. Planing most of the time- even when not a whitecap in site. Stoked to have such a nice light wind setup. Using the 8.5m+ a lot in the last year because the wind has been so crap. Today was actually a really nice sail- especially later when the wind picked up a bit. Full power at times.
