Albany, WA, AU. Plan was dawn patrol, rig at 6:30 and be on the water for 7. Arrived as planned but Antman already on a mission and on the water since 6am. Was cranking 35-42kts so figured I'd just bomb him with the drone. Gonna be some good footage with a few surprises. Boz was trying to wake the Poodle and bring some coffee. Heavy rain but flew the drone for a few batteries then did some more quadrification experiments. Rondog arrived and rigged which in turn motivated Boz to rig so followed those guys with the drone for a few batteries. Then figured I'd better rig. I'd only packe the 5.2 due to the strong wind. Just finished rigging when Tom rolled up. Went out just as the others came in saying it was all over...did a few runs but not fully lit then started chugging so came in. Tom was also struggling as had also rigged small...waited to follow him with the drone till hypothermia started to kick in but alas no footage of him today. Boz and Tom still at it when we left. Another great morning, was too sore from yesterday to join Ant at 6:30 early bird sail, well done to the super sesh to Ant, it was the windiest I’ve seen for a SE at Albany, rondig and flex also braving the conditions.

Super stoked that the wind hung around for an early start with good water. It was a 40+ fest both tacks every run :O .The strongest east wind I have experienced at lilacs.
