waricle (22504km): ![]() Coodanup, WA, AU CA66 LSB 6.8. Decrepit 23 delta. Lowish tide, moderate breeze with the occasional fresh gust. Sunny and mild. Sailed with Gloria, Maree, Ant, Boz Mike Rob and Simon. A very pleasant morning sailing session.
Decrepit (56811km): ![]() Thanks Gloria, for prompting me on this, turned out to be a good session for me. Wind up and down, water state good, tide deep enough to take off close to shore, but not too deep to careate big chop. No smooth but patches with chop small enough not to worry me. rigged the 60cm, 20cm@50*,, and 6.6 Komcept. Still getting very puffed and short of breath on bear aways, gets worse with chop and speed. So only did short runs with long rests in beteen. But I did find on one of my last runs, water was a bit flater and wind a little lighter, I could concentrate on relaxing, this enabled a longer run without getting as puffed. So now I need to learn how to bear away without tensing up. if we get smooth water I'm sure that will help. Nice crowd as usual, always great to share the water with this crew.
I think Rob gets the gentleman of the day award, for helping Maree
| SluGger (15026km): Manta 61 KA 6.6M Pepe 18 delta. Got rigged and hit the water to get straight on the plane and try and hook in? no harness on DOH! Headed back out and had some decent runs on my new to me Firiebob sponsored sail, Thanks Bobby. Always great to see and chat to everyone. Happy days | ||||||||||||||||||

Elmo (33640km): ![]() JP SLW NP RSR Evo_XV 7.4m, NP RSXMWS Totally unexpected and way better than I ever thought I could have a foiling session. Down at Novara just before 1pm, on the water just after 2pm, fark me I'm turning into Bob The wind was appearing to pick up and I was expecting my little red freckle to get kicked from Pillar to post but it wasn't to be, I'd followed Slashers advice once again and shifted mast base a bit further back which made me load up the front foot more, which held me in good stead when the gusts hit. In a very unlike Elmo fashion, I managed to stay dry until I'd done +21km Splatted my first gybe at the return end, then got smashed by the with on the outward end, it was nice of The Slasher who was busy destroying (only) shoulder high waves today, to give me a thumbs up as he glided on by looking for the next shoulder to smack. Great arvy out with The Slasher, Annie, Simon, Strop and Lee. Good times
