Murray Mouth

Gun 6.5, JP 95, select Maui speed 28

The biggest highlight was definitely seeing Daishy out sailing again. Stash and Daishy started a couple of hours before me. I was watching the wind at work hoping it would hold for when I got there. We got one good gust while I was sailing which got me my 35 knots 2 sec. I haven't sailed my 95 and a 6.5 since January, so it took a while to get settings feeling balanced, but by then my arms were cooked. Daishy's still got it- hasn't sailed in over a year and comes out and smashed me. A great afternoon of sailing with great company.

Porter lagoon. 30-35kt SW/W, then 25-30, then 20-25. Hucker 4.2, JP 63L Speed, Tribal 16 Delta. Same issue as previous sessions in 35kt. Arms burning out etc. Focused on not getting the boom or hands wet. So no gybes. But, then it dropped to 25-30kt and it became fun. Started doing gybes. A nice glassy patch developed N/NW end of the lake. That's where I was getting my peaks. You can run that prized fin into the mud and it won't get a scratch on it :). Water level the same as when Carl and Slash sailed it in early September. Just before going out (3:19 pm) (below). Well done Andy on the peak :)

Awesome day at the mouth with Daishy and Andrew. It blew 25 to 30 at times. Patrik 59 with P7 6.2.

Well done to Daishy for not sailing for a couple of years and hitting 37kts!!
