When that was a let down 😢 First sail since for ever. Patric SL100 6.6 Loft RB 30 weedie The forecast was SSE 17-19 but we got 10-13k maybe a touch more in the rare gusts. The mission was a 20k Hour as the boys all ready had great numbers, was battling to keep on the plane, so that went out the window. Hoppy headed back in after a blinder first run out with the wind fading. I managed a couple of runs with the bigger sail but called it quits in the fading breeze & didn't wan t to be let stranded.

Hey, check out the North Haven cool wave sailors rigging area. This is where Bondy and Geoff Mitton rig up. It is sort of like the Qantas club, and if you can't do forward loops, then don't bother coming here . That grass looks fertilised.

Cruise from Goolwa to Clayton Bay. Gusty, on and off the plane. Painful wind shadow at times. An adventure nonetheless.
