JP Slalom IV 104L, NP RSS MkII 7.2m, JP Freeride Weed 36cm

Special guest appearance of JP Speed 54cm, KenElmo weed 24cm

Fun little session this morning with the wind up and down quite a lot majoritory of the time on my 104L struggling to get back up wind, wind and water temp was perfect for polar bears, Farken freezing it was.

Took the 54cm out on effectively 1 run, I had tried at the begining of the session but there wasn't enough wind. We finally had what looked to be some more solid wind coming in so I optimistically chucked the little beastie on the sail, took a while but I eventually got a gust  and got going, HOLY SHEET BATMAN this is one slipery board found the footstraps piece of piss (That was frozen as well) pointed it down wind and away, unfortunately The gusts weren't very strong and just ran out of wind but jeeze this board has bugger all friction fin wasn't any where near powered and it dealt with the chop nice

Bring on some more wind, I can hear some Yeaharghs a coming onCool

Time for a nice hot shower.

Oh, Slowy turned up and actually brought some wind with him for a changeWink could have done with him a couple of hours earlier.

Of for a nice hot showerCool

Yell dam! just like Joe, had a problem with the GPS... wonder if everyone had that!? Unfortunately thats all I could get! Was doing 32s and 33s all the time... last time I looked the GPS it shows 35.84 max & 33.88 avg

Sailed at "Mini Sandy" as I call it.. started couple laps in the pond then the wind changed to a WSW! (even the graph says SW!!!) so the kiters cleared the deck as it was getting choppy in the pond itself...I did an hour in a gusty WSW 15-25knt, tide was high so you could sail far inside the pond

First time  I sailed in the pond the long of the sand bar, It was great... I had the feeling of the real marbles for the first time! The only problem, I had only 300mts to get up to speed before getting into the wild and finishing on the edge of the pond!

mini sandy

Good fun Cool, to be done again!!

F2 SX XL, 8.4m RSR, 40cm Choco weedy

Lechenault Inlet SSW 5-15knts with 5mins of 20knts( As i was sailing up wind)

Quick early sesh to get some fresh air and escape screaming babies. Rigged up next to no wind with a black cloud gathering in the distance. Tide was low so had to sail underfinned. Turns out it works fine with the 8.4m in 20knts. Just started to enjoy things beinf fully lit and it switched off to nothing. Slogged back and packed up.

Feel much better today, even though Evets beat me in distance and ALPHA!!!! (well done Steve), I did get a 22.3 but it was 70m seperation.

Best Alphas on my old speed board, but it really was a bit too light for that today, managed a 20kt alpha on the thommen, I'll just have to practise with it. Max speed was on the Thommen, with Herby's modified fin, at 30cm that's a bit big for a speed fin for me, must try it with a 25 or something. Used Buggsy's 5.8 rehack again, handled the lulls and the gusts.

7.8 rsr,jp 109 ss ,36cm jp weed

Quick run down to Lechenault Inlet ,only to be skunked by the wind hung around for a bit and was rewarded with a brief sail before the combination of rapidly falling tide and wind cut my session short.Good to catch some sw crew out in the bloody cold conditions.
