JP slalom - 6.2 H2 m 34 flying objects.

Took a new H2 6.2 sail out today and had a good session getting it dialled in. Very nice and comfortable sail once you in the straps and the sail is locked down. no problems with the 25+ knot gusts at all. Seemed very light a 2 cam sail. was super easy to pull out of the water and water start, Can ses a lot of room for improvement with this setup.

A quick blast after work. Thought I was going to miss out, a- cause of crap traffic and b- cause there were some ominous clouds rolling in from the west looking like they were going to kill the wind.

It was certainly windier out there than it looked. I rigged my 6.7 and went out on my Falcon and did one run before I came in and grabbed my Drops, a 27cm fin and my weight jacket. Still probably a tad overdone but manageable. Caught up with leo and Craig blasting down the runway and I think my fastest run was the one I was chasing Leo on at the end of the day. Could have stayed out longer but there was a lot of thrashing going on in the water at one stage in front of me which was probably something feeding on some bait fish. That something could have been anything but I didn't want to find out as I would have been out there pretty much by myself.

A GREAT start to the weekend Laughing

Starting to get a bit pissed with this Doppler thing. Worked hard for a 30.44 on the dial on big gear in pretty bad super gusty conditions and after yesterday up at the runway it felt crap. Couldnt make Botany today with family commitments so was pleased with 2 sec on a wide board and big sail. Still, that Falcon is a beautiful ride and quite happy with speeds in those conditions.

Nicve work from the boys at the airport, just spoke to Rexy and got the story.

Falcon 121, RSR 7.8, JP gen III 44 fin.

starboard 161, vmg k70, rsr II 10.0

only managed to squeeze in an hour on the water today after spending most of the afternoon waiting around the lake for the wind to fill in... it didnt.

grabbed the formula gear & went to taylors point & had a nice 15-25knots & bugger all boats to chop up the water, unfortunately the 25knots only lasted around 10 minutes when i got out then back to around 20 in the gusts. Still trying to crack 30...
