Not much when I got there so rigged big.. Worked up to the flats and it came in. I could handle it but it was tiring and I've got an 8hr drive tomorrow so I didn't want to wreckmy neck with the big sail.( did anyway.. ) Got the 26kts with this kit.
Back in and rigged 6.6m and of course it had died..Oh well worked back up and the gods smiled on me and it came back in!
Fun sail. Not powered up enough for good speed bearawya but feel I'm finally getting the hang of gybing. Really thought I would have got a 20 alpha so disapointed. Probably not quite powered up enough as I did a lot of planing exits..Actually got tactical for once and went for an alpha PB..bummer. Anyway good fun pity that board at 75cms wide isn't faster..
You could sail anywhere today - I even went right over to the shore. Only nudged bottom a few times.The lake is brilliant we just need the wind!
Milsy out with 8.9m . Then Frothie slogging upwind. Mick , Pete and Bruce all rigging as I went. Wind came in then but I had to get home to get ready to go skiing tomorrow. No sailing for me fopr c 3 weeks now. Doing other stuff. Have fun!
