Clifton Beach, QLD, AU SSE -SE 15-22 knots .1st Sunshine in ~10 days so great to finally get out .Had familyarrive this morning so couldntmake GI but instead had a great sail off the beach .Lots of weed & turtles .Had a ball .Used my JP 92 2015 RSS mk 4 7m2 & tribal sw 29 .Sweet combo !!

sailed with Ian and James , young Billy took a rain cheque.

Ian had a sort foot from yesterdays efforts but soldiered on!!

used my old 1988 sputnick and got 29.76 on the dail first run but never bettered it.

Could not jibe it so changed to CA55 later in the session.

Great day,no rain and wind generally pretty good for Tinaroo , Hans and Herb come down for a chat

and James provided refreshments on close of play....thanks James.

Wind was a little patchy but still one of the best sails I've had at the beach.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Got a session in at lunch time today with my mate Andrew.The wind was meant to drop out early today .There was a solid 20kts on the beach with more out wide. Rigged burnt out 6.6m north sail on 97lt Isonic Turbo Duck and 38cm fin, was keen to try this sail on new board.Was totaly tapped out with rig cranked down to the max.The ocean was the roughest i have seen it for a long time.Dropped a few gybes out wide due to being a bit over powered in a rough sea. Decided to tighten them up a bit, then it was all good for the rest of the session ..Isonic was great and did all i asked of it.. The more i sail this board the more i like it you can have a go at just about anything on this board..Was getting shagged after nearly 2hrs non stop and the wind was still pumping hard with no sign of backing off,So i decided to back off...'Think i am getting soft'...Andrew did the whole nine yards and didn't take any crap from the angary wind gods, he pulled up shagged but happy.. Was back on the couch by 3.30..After a good fun session..Cheers Ed

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU Nice sunny windy day at the Dam, had a great day with Ian and Fred who were both blasting past me most of the day. We were all wondering what happened to Billy ---  either he got a better offer ??!?!! or he was busy doing ?? Dam still rising could be full before the end of March.
