Sailboard HQ weekend. Some of this data was during the slalom racing (Alphas) followd by fun speedsailing in tight SW high tide conditions.

I used CA40 and IS50, '09 and '07 5m Koncepts and Lockwwod proto 22cm assy, KA 20cm assy and TM48 20 cm assy. (gear testing/comparisons)

Kato and Mat's night speed sailing was a sight to behold!

A long fun day.Started at 7.30 and finished at 10ish pm with a few breaks in between. Haven,t seen that many boards on the water since the early 90s Great to see but made the speed course a bit lumpy,I,m a bit spoilt Tongue out. Had a couple of slalom races and chased Daffy round the course again just like the 90s with the same result(he won) Sailed the tandem to a peak of 25kts,more speedsailing and then speed night sailing with Matt and Alister on the kite and I did a night pb of 36.2kts. Now i,m stuffed. Ran on the day NP 7.0 on 110l AB with 38 fin, Ka 5.8,Kids ProS,TM 26 Fin, Ka 5.0,CA40,TM AsyV7 Fin and Ay-Up Lights for the night sail

Well done blokes; that's a formidable set of numbers early in the month. It already looks like November is going to be a very tough battle in the GPSTC with the Bug Munchers already looging some good numbers too.
