1st Attempt Exocet Cross 106, 6.5m T3, 36Choco.

2nd Attempt Exocet Cross 106, 5.5m Storm, 32 Exocet.

Way too much power for me for the conditions at PP - found myself wave jumping too much. Was also suffering from a severe case of Naulitis - nothing was comfortable.  New boom, new harness strap positions blah blah blah.  Not a high wind sailor at the moment.

Really nice after work session...SOOO much better time than I had yesterday...today all felt good...nicely balanced and really easy to sail...speeds not fantastic but satisfying none the less.

Jay and Jesper were FLYING...just reminds me...youth + ability + balls >>> old age + self preservation!! Anyhow, I had fun and that's what it's all about.

Well done on the PB,s Jay, speeds I can only dream of.

Melville

First RRD Freestyle/wave 111 with a 34 fin, -then Xfire 80 with 27 fin. 6.4 KA

Got 33.66 kts on the Freestyle / Wave board. Very nice board, would say it is more like a freeride/ wave board.

I swapped to the Xfire 80 and got a bit better speed. Wind was dropping a bit in the same time.

Fun day!

Isonic 87, Techno 30cm, CodeRed 6.5 and a fancy hair cut....

To state that I'm pleased with my 2 Second Peak today would be an understatement! I can't explain how good it feels to post a time that's closer to 40knts than 30knts. 40knts feel within my grasp this season people!!!!

Would like to thank Darryl for the coaching yesterday, I followed your instructions 'n look what happened!! Shame you weren't there to see the result.....

All times checked by Nelson: Some minor changes Jay sorry Frown

Nice work Jay. Stopped in at Melville and had a look but did not have any gear with me.  Saw some red flashes out the back which must have been you and Jesper. The way you are going you will hit 40 before me. I migh have to pull my finger out.

CRIKEY...., I may have started something ere. In the interest of fairness, could we please record who is in this little challenge (within a challenge). By my records we have the following people in:

Darryl, Jesper, Tony (Graceman) and myself. Who else? The winner could walk away with more beer than ya can drink in a year- (maybe not for some).

Mark: Yip up at Lucky Bay. I was loaded up as I approched the bank then I saw approx 200mts of "gust" on the water so I pointed her off wind (Chris Lockwood style) and closed my eyes!! The bank is not the place to be going flat out with your eyes closed- oh well, things ya do.

We'll meet next time mate.....

Good to see Melville turning it on, I haven't ventured down there this season, might need to remedy that?
