First day on the board... after playing with fins was starting to get comfy when the wind died. Think this board has good potential! Thanks to Jez at 2nd wind for the loan. I'll give it back eventually!

5211 days ago Melville, got there a little late, on the water just after 5.00. Got 15min of OK wind before it started to swing and get gusty. Then another half hour of marginal gusty wind before getting stranded at the bottom of the sand bar. Then a 25min walk back along the sand bar to the carpark. TR4 6.6 isonic 86. Still good to get a sail after the last few hot days.

You know there are some days when you just have to admit defeat...give up while you're ahead...in fact sometimes just give up...I had such a day today. Haven't been in the water for a week, good breeze, really looking forward to it but nothing felt right. Spent the first 20 min adjusting stuff just to try and get comfortable. Then a couple of average runs...nothing off the wind, the "just one more at the end"...faark, how can the breeze drop from 20+ knots to ZERO in less than 5 min!!! Aaaarghhh! Yes, I had to SWIM in...not happy Jan!!
Should have stayed home. At least some of the team were out racking up good speeds!! Well done guys & gals...sorry for lack of support.

Good wind for the slalom. We did 3 rounds and in the 4'th the wind dropped to nearly nothing.
