Lake Clearwater Westerly 25-35kts

Mykz SP7 46cm, Gaastra Nitro4 5.1, Mykz 225@28 fin, GT11

Nice day with warm wind, sunny and freezing cold water. I reckon that's the last sail up there for the season, too cold.

Wind had the usual westerly problem........wrong angle so no flat water with wind, shame 'cos it was quite steady , 20 degrees more north and it would have been fast.

Lost the feeling in the feet which stopped us early.

2 hour drive for an hour and a half sail,  only the team challenge would get me doing this at this time of the year. Luckly it was a nice sunny day.

Its been a long tome since the 5.1 came out.!! I got flattened  on one gust and backwinded on a couple of jybes trying to get in a mile.

Too much time in the water got cold  and could not feel my feet  (take note Neil)  and called it quits

The mile had 2 jybes in it. Wind was too west to get good 10 sec runs, still  worth it for the team .

Went from the lake straight to work tonight.

I,m feeling a bit second hand now as I had a big crash last night MTBing.  Still, can have a big sleep in tomorrow.
