Howrah, TAS, AU. Isonic 101, R3 6.2.

Sail to hell and back (probably serves me right for not having wave gear).

This was possibly the hardest and worst sail I have ever had in horrible huge chop.

The plan was (since everyone was at Park) to sail up to Mortimer Bay and back.

Started off OK in a nice breeze fairly powered up. As I made my way, a solid 30 knot wind and hail storm came through and the waves were huge. Then as I got towards Droughy the wind dropped below 10 knots. Could see a wind line ahead so kept doggy for another half an hour. Got to the end of Droughy and wind picked up to a solid 20-25 knots but it was so choppy and really hard to sail. Sailed a few more km and headed back, trip back was just as bad. Lucky to get back.

Stanley, TAS, AU, Sailed with Stewart, Ray and his son. First sail with the new OD 6.2 and it felt great.

Its so much more stable than the non cambered sails i have been using.

Had a 44 on the dial but i knew it would drop, with a 38 10sec. From diving off into the hell chop.Good fun day though. Blew most of the day around 25, gusts to 35? Hectic day with 70+ on water of all kinds of sports.

Great to catch up and meet some new faces.

Congrats on the Pb Stew and Ray, we were just unlucky that the big gusts were too broard to sail.

Looking foward to the big guns posting, should be good...
