South Arm (Bazzants Road), IS 90 carbon, Vector Rocket 32, R3 6.2. Was pretty overpowered and had a lot of trouble keeping the gear on the water in the chop, pushed myself pretty hard and had a few minor stacks but I'm happy with the scores! 1 hr was pretty much a straight accross the wind one as the spot I rigged was at the top of the bay (didn't get it on the way back to the car). Was on the water for exactly 2 hours and did almost 90km Surprised

Mortimer Bay, TAS, AU  Tough going out there today, made me feel my age. Heaps of sailors out, was good fun. Great effort to come down for the day Cookie, nice to meet you at last. Was overpowered at times with the Loft 7.0. JP59

5.6 OD R4   82 Isonic    28 Venom

Very disappointing day for me today. Had High hopes to go for some milage, a good 1 hr and good NM, but my rig let me down. To start with the head of my sail broke when rigging it and thanks to Dave Jack for helping me fix it. Then about 15 minutes into my 1 hr I got catapulted pretty badly and went straight through my new 5.6 sailCry and got pain through my neck so headed back to the car which was way down wind and decided to call it a day.Yell

Great afternoon of sailing.  Heaps out.  Lots of fun going for the GPS5!  Hardwork though.  Was hoping for more wind after completing the 1hr, but never really happened.

Dave Morehead, posting for Dave Jack, who borrowed a GPS to sail with yesterday and has just joined the GPS TC.  Nice first post Dave, it gets harder to see those PB's up there - but it's nice when you do! Cool

Thanks Dave, is fun to be involved. Was out late afternoon alone on the lagoon today - was quite choppy and gusty. Tempted (not really) to use my one and only race sail (a North Ram 7.8) but went for a 4.7 wavesail with an iSonic 115 then swapped to a F2 FSW 87.  Nice to sort out the mechanics of the GPS and posting results.
