Nice wee sail with a few of the MOB crew, wind a bit all of the place but still a few decent gusts.

Rough, gusty but windy sail at the lake. Nice to have a 7 m that I can hold onto is some strong gusts today. Pulled the plug early as found water psssing out of my delaminated repiar job on my JP. A bad end to to good but hard sail.

Very gusty SE day at VP and pretty rough cond.

Didn't like my set up today not confortable at all.

Don't think I will use this sail again, it may be bound for the Seabreeze sell site as can't get use to race sails....

Used Exocet 90L Warp, Maui TR4 5.1, 30 fin.

JP Slalom VIII 96L, Select 33cm, EVO5 6.4m. Attended the Freerace round at the lake tpday. It was super gusty. One minute you were white knuckled hanging on then next in the water with nothing. I just wasn't comfortable all day and it was very rough. Didn't do one bearaway or any off the wind runs. Not the best of days on the water for numbers but happy to streach my arms. I really need more time on the water........

That was certainly a rude shock back to the reality that 20kts of wind on an open body of water produces sizeable chop! We were certainly spoiled at Lake George.

Oh well, I got better as the session progressed and had fun.

Great to catch up with a crew from Moreton Bay and the Gold Coast who were staying for the weekend

Anyone know how the "1 hr" kts is calculated. I sailed for under 2 hrs and distance was 19.94 kms, and 1 hr was 7.22. That doesn't make sense. Average should be 10kts for 2 hrs sailing, so peak 1 hour should be higher. I've been noticing this for ages.  Have I got it wrong?? Do I need to get my GPS calibrated?

Greg you did 20 kmts in two hours, that is about 10.1 sea miles in two hours (sea mile is about 1.83 km). Knot is sea mile per hour.          You did 10 km an hour or about 5 knots on average. Nothing wrong with the GPS

I'm glad we looked at my uni yesterday Andy, as I puuled it apart last night and the holes in the tendon had become very oversized. Time to replace it. i think I have a new tendon floating around somewhere. Nice day out on the water yesterday. Where do you look to see the results of yesterdays race you guys had? Hope you all have some good days at Burrum

Hey Paul, good to catch-up. Full results of Freerace will be posted on the website when Dylan gets a chance. I can tell you that Brad won class A and Jonesey class B. I came second in class B, so pretty stoked with that on the big board!!
