Awesome afternoon, on the water!

AH, so nice to get out and enjoy the wind. A bit of a chalenge at times with a bit of the usual lumps and bumps on the drug run. Good to see Cookie and Barry smoking down the sand bar. Had a go at one mile. that was enough body abuse for me, well done Izaak,Stew and Perks, big commitment it the conditions!

Lagoon bay, Tas

Very windy sail at lagoon, some rough sections in the middle but a few flat spots on the edges. Fully powered up on the 6.3 with some strong gusts coming through. had a couple of fast stacks and put a nice hole in the sail. Great to see Steve and Ferg up here who were flying and ripping in the conditions. New spot record for me.

Tough sail, went as fast as I could but struggled to go any quicker. Learnt how to do good off the wind runs though so all good practice. Had a 31.5 on the dial so not too bad for me. Atleast I could see I am improving alot.

Lagoon Beach, Low Head, Tas. 2016 Isonic 97, Vector Weed Speed 27cm and R6 6.2.

Fergus and I hit the road to sail at Lagoon Beach for the first time. Great fun and a top day on the new 97 .The board felt awesome and happy to get a good top speed on its first outing. Just a bit underfinned with the small 27cm weedy. Had 38 on the gps dial but dropped a lot, oh well. Great to catch up with the boys from up north.
