Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Good forecast, looked good, rigged 5.9 & RS1, 23 weedy, Was a bit up & down for a while, then came in quite strong, maybe 18-20 knots, Heaps of guys out, the ex teacher Wayno, Tibor, Byron, Matt D, Johnnie, Mick K, Mick S, Paul B, Paul D, Pugs, Pete, Johnno, & others.

Thanks for the rigging tips Byron, I love that RS1, it is so nice, gybes so well.

Hopefully someone has found my TR7 Maui sail that I left behind, Tibor will pay a big reward for it but please give it to me before you ask him for the money.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 6.6 maui TR11, mark pederson reshaped, home made 19 delta.

Never happened WAY underdone all day went out and had to wait in the water for 45 min unitl it was windy enough to even sail. dissapointed.

I think I will sail the sand islands only come here if belistic  way more wind than here. no point having flat water if you dont have wind.

Still unreal to see so many out havnt seen that many sail together in a long time and it was nice falt water just hard work with no wind.

Great to have Bruce beat me in top speed looked good on the Exocet RS1 and Maui mate.

Coal Point, NSW, AU iSonic 125 - Sailworks XT2 7.4 - 38 weed fin.

First try of the weed fin. Worked OK. little bit of spinout if you werent careful, but no clumps of weed to get rid so nice.

Still fitness level 0, but a nice sail with reasonable speed for me.

Coal Point, NSW, AU

Exocet RS6, TR8 7.6, Vmax 51 - Wind ENE 12 knots

Sweltered all day while the westerly blew and kept the nor-easter offshore.  Seabreeze finally fought back and made it to Coal Point about 2:30pm.  Very strange to see whitecaps from a westerly in Toronto Bay, but then see it fade as I drove out towards Coalie, where there were whitecaps from the noreaster!

Never really powered up.  Ran out of time, but it was great to cool off by being on the water.

Finally got to understand what is so good about the Sand Islands, really nice smooth water. Just could have done with a little more wind

Gear: to much to list.

A great day gliding over mirrors with some better breeze later. I made some poorly timed gear changes but still a fun day. I also got out on the tabou 3S with a 5.7 wavesail at marmong today. The wind clocked around from southeast to due south and smoked in at 20 knots plus for about an hour it was bloody lovely. Sorry no data for today I usually don't bother with the gps when I ride the bump and jump gear.

Of course l would have sold that sail by now but l left before you Bruche!

On an other note, no wonder l feel a bit tired. Yesterday the formula at Marmong and today these extra few kms.

I am and l imagine everyone is smiling while licking their wounds.

Congrats to Bruce . Great result.

Well done on a several PB's guysCool

GeoffS, as we run weed fins most of the time over here, just move your rear harness line back in 20mm adjustments til the spin out stops, should see you right.

Congratulations to Bruce and Tibor for the PBs, and to bruce for winning the day.   Better print this one out and mark it on a calendar.  Beating Byron is as rare as seeing him fall in!

Good to see you straight back on the horse Mick after a tough session up at Forster.
