tricky day on the water today, the forecast looked good but didn't get there,with a high low tide and swell rolling down the run it got a little bit hairy at times, flattened out later but the wind had also eased, but still made for a good sail

Hard work today with very gusty conditions. First went to dorans (no wind) then to pitwater (too gusty and very westerly) then back to dorans (too northerly and still no wind) then finally to south arm which was blowing a solid 25- 30. Only sailed for about 35min as I had to be in town by 3. Seems the last gust paid off though!!

Hard day at Pittwater with Ferg. Went out at the boom gate end around 10am. Wind wasnt getting in to the western side but looked like it was howling on the the chicken run eastern side. Hobart was reading 25-45 knots but wasnt getting in at our spot. After a couple of hours we went to Dorans but there was no wind there at all. This was weird because it should have been howling there. We went back PW to 5 mile and went out there with some really nice gusts coming through. Got back on the water at 3pm and sailed until nearly dark.
