A nice session to blow off the Covid-19 cobwebs. The wind arrived an hour late and was not as strong as forecast, but the angle to the bank was good, the tide perfect and the company excellent.

Up in Brisbane for work so called into Wello on the way home for a rare North Easterly in April. Only had the small board/6.2 so a total drift session at first, but the wind picked up enough for a good sail. Nice to be back on the water.

Not much difference across wind with the raf sails especially in the chop as long as its solid wind.

The Race sails do have have an advantage through the lulls and off the wind though.
