Lake George, SA

A large day at the lake, ended later than intended but had a great day, thought the forecast shifting wind directions might work for a distance attempt,  started early, the first half went well, over done a few times but some great runs in the NE, had a lunch break and decided to stay on same gear, big mistake, got back to top and some large gusts coming over, very over done, tried to hide in the shadow up top. Then my UJ broke, lucky the ropes held it together and I had a unpleasant downwind return to packers to get another one. Back out and wind now NW had eased a bit, still overpowered but decided Id come this far, and would keep going. Lucky the forecast proved good for the late afternoon, westerly runs up and down the lake, and easy sail back to base
