Wellington Point, QLD, AU The South-Easter continues for a second day, though it didn’t seem to be a strong as yesterday’s session. At times, was very light out the back and with that I struggled to get going on the small board. The flat water closer in behind the sandbanks held the better wind, though didn’t stop me having a huge catapult during a gybe ... Fewer out today, this Saturday, on the eve of River Fire September Festival tonight in Brisbane city. Water is clear, though there is some light green “Slime weed” floating about indicating we may be in for our own algae bloom. Pb foil session today. Most fun/scary time I have had on the foil in a while, rigged my slalom Severne Mach 3 7m instead of 8m and was the correct choice. Severne Mach 3, iq foil youth board and foil.
