Another nice day at Boombas, joined by the Green Hornet Richo, Waricle, Rob, Anita and a late Flex (sorry had to go). Started NNW so we did a run to Austin Bay wind kicked in about the same as yesterday with some bigger squalls. Was having fun, Richo and I decided to go to the Far Eastern side but when we got there was looking a bit doggy with the wind so made the call to head back.
Well maybe we left it one run too late as a squall was approaching had one run in total whiteout, crossed the Cays and did not see the markers till I was on top of them, turned and off course the wind went Westerly and started to die. A slug fest to the outer waters trying to find wind to no avail slugged back in only making it to the point.
Was thinking it was going to be a long walk but thankfully the wind came in enough to do 3 tacks to get back to the carpark while Richo and Rob where still down the bottom end not making much headway, Rob evantually slugged back and Richo I think he gave up on the sug fest and started walking back, good exercisee. Nice to see Anita back on the water and very impressed with the art she is doing at the moment, thanks for sharing Anita fabulous work.

7 hours ago Point Grey, WA, AU. Late to the party with everyone packing up and wind dying. Rigged and went out, wind booted and had a great but short sail...then died completely and a moderate walk back. iSonic97, 7mSv R8 proto, FF22 (18)

Same setup as yesterday without the crash! Was pretty underpowered but nice to see how that combo works for shallow water. Fastest run was up the northern end of Melville sending it through the slop to kiter land. Just a solid gust. Felt mint. Got another gust for similar speed on the other tack a bit later but that was it. Two gusts hahaha. Vmax 37.3.
lets see what tomorrow brings.
