Sumner, Canterbury, NZ

Sumner to Woodend back to sumner then down the harbour.  Good play in the ocean.  Was stacked coming down the harbour crazy as it was only 15 knots at the heads.

Lake Aviemore.  No more than 15 knots. Used the bigger board for once. Playing join the dots with the gusts. Easy going session.  CA 103 LRB 6.6 C3 40

Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Board, sail and fin all felt harmonised and really nicely matched to the conditions, ..just the pilot to bloody old for taking on that much chop for more than a couple of minutes at a time. ..Tried to wait it out, think it was well after 8PM when I left, it was just getting flat as I was driving away, ..which was a bit irritating, but the wind was through East as well.

Carbon Art 78, Loft RB 5.0, Tribal 16 and Flikka 22

..the Flikka 22 had the edge in those conditions (2 Sec. is with it)

Hi Tide, plenty of wind and rough!

Only 6 people out with me, the others gave up.

Ezzy Foil Cross 5.2, Quattro 95, RV32 fin

Pretty nice cruising around on this easy gear.

Christchurch Estuary, NZ

Aaron,  what a mission!

I've been eyeballing your file.

32km up the coast, 62km back at Sumner, you tacked upwind out to sea from there for 12km and then at 76km you turned off the wind towards the heads and headed off down the harbour for another 28kms.

You'll be feeling that sail for a few days!
