Went to the harbour for a sail (7.7 115 stacked) was told on the way to the water that the lake level was up. Had two runs but the harbour was full of sticks from the recent flooding so I came in to change fin and decided to check out the lake. Wasn't sure if I'd be able to drive in after all the rain so went to the point between the old and new runs as it has a gravel base near the lake (even though it was underwater) and it was the fastest way to get sailing. Wind was super east so went to new run. Was an exciting downwinder to get there!! Rolling chop throghout the run made it slow and had super light wind at the end. Had a decent walk towards the end as the wind died in the dark hoping I was heading for the truck. Amazing sunset worth getting a gopro for. Great sail really enjoyed it lake has water now we need wind!! Excited!!
