2 hours ago Grassy Pt, Corpus Christi. Similar wind to yesterday, maybe a bit more up and down. Went for RRD 90 + 7.0 today instead of the Falcon 99 + 6.3 (we have a second 6.3, but not enough fat extensions to rig it when Nina uses the 5.6). Seemed easier to sail, and was easy to control when I hit a good gust in a speed run in small chop. Forecast had predicted the wind to drop early so stopped when it got lighter. Still enough to plane all the way in, but too light for a good naughty. Was tired enough to stop by then, anyway - partly because my drink bottle had decided to swimming at some point, so I was a bit dehydrated after 90 minutes on the water. Al stayed out so he should have some decent distance for today, unless he had another one of these mishaps that seem quite attracted to him.
