Bloody hell!!

First sail in 7 weeks, 4 days of the dreaded lurgy and expected to be super rusty.

Didnt last long but some fun runs and I surprised myself managing to not cark it after one run. First beer in 5 days too must mean Ive been really crook!!

Bring on some good wind!!

nice one Larko, was that on the new machine?

I'm looking forward to a sail soon, I reckon it's about time for a shakedown. If there is a bit of southerly left on Saturday morning I might venture down to the Bay. Fingers crossed!

Thanks boys.

On the Falcon 111. No energy to try the JP and gusty as buggery so used the Fanatic. Like riding a bike, you never forgetSmile

Most guys were on 7 or bigger but being so tired I went with the 6.7 and JP 36cm. Got a couple of gusts and went deep. pretty bloody happy with that after no sailing.

Hope you get back on board soon Andrew, you deserve it for sure.
