Well what an awesome session! It had that feeling while walking up the sand bar, that it could go nucular. And wow it did! It was a hard day on the water though! Most of the time the sandbar was under water, due to the tidal surges and the coarse was very square making it only possible to do short sharp sligshots, off into the hell chop!

Near the end of the session. The biggest most darkest squall was appraching, that i'd ever seen! It brought a solid 50plus knots for 10mins or so and the run was basically unsailable.

OH YEAH turned up just as the MOTHER SCUD was looming over our shoulders! Managed only two runs before it was all over quicker than a teenagers first time :) Saw a flattened car on the way home from a fallen tree; Dont see that everyday i thought.

Good one Ray I thought I had the splash and dash but I smashed you on distance.Wink

Too busy faffing around changing down from 2012 Ka 5.8 to my unused nice and shiny 2013 Ka 5.0 which I have had since last Oct.

Just got back to the water to see the whole surface of the water and sand lift off and blown away along with Stewart.Surprised

53 knots at the airport just round the corner.

Really hard to hold gear down and not get blown away. Got to the top of the run and the wind disappeared.

Well done team

Hard day on the water today in sometimes crazy conditions(one massive black scud came through,55 knots)!

Those who really wanted it went quick today as it quickly become a battle for self preservation.

Bit disappointed with my peak odviously wasn't frothing hard enough!!

Good fun Smile !

Great experience on the water today and felt really comfortable (obviously to comfortable). Some of the best scenery I,ve seen with the black foreboding clouds in the background. Headed down the run with a bit of a gust approaching and layed off (briefly) to try and get the most from the gust, my aggets shrunk dramatically as I headed up into the wind and became airborne at the same time as the 53 knot squall hit. Just another day on the water really.

A bit disappointed  with the 2 sec but a hell day. Awsome effort with the PB cookie Sealed

You’ve busted through the door of the 40-knot club, Cookie!!

Congratulations, you’re now officially captain of Team Stanley!!

And  Team Perks have put in another significant 42.

I believe they asked a powerful computer years ago: what is the meaning of the universe?

Apparently the answer was 42. I think I know what that means now.

I guess it makes Team Perks the Masters of the Universe  … or at the very least, the Masters of the Mother Scud.

And all you other guys out there having a ball while I was slaving away at work   …  you’re all a bunch of Mother Scudders!!!
