sad, cold sail. Too many things went wrong, atleast dad was the one who broke his mast.

What a disaster of day. Got up at 3.30am to do some big distance with Kaleb, Russ and Fergus. Drove to the wrong spot because where we launched from had too much SW and the wind wasnt getting in there. We got on the water at 6am and took until 7am before I could get going. Russ couldnt get going on the small gear. I managed one run across and just as I jibed my mast snapped. I was about 5km from the car, managed to walk up to the highway and hitch a lift back to my car. Sorry Kaleb but no back up from me today, just a day for me to forget.

Went for some distance today. Was non stop drizzling and the wind was a little up and down. So after 110 I had enough. Kept Kaleb company out there for a little while, I think his out there for for record Km's. Money mouth

Quick blast out on Moulting Lagoon with Perks on my way back from Lake George.  Wind was getting in OK, but quite gusty.  Water conditions looked pretty flat, but it would get choppy quicky, every time the wind picked up.  Tried for a couple of NM's, but they weren't long enough (arghh)!  Was averaging about 32knots just eyeballing the data, so nothing too spectacular, but was hoping to back-up Kaleb!

Well done on the 1hr Perks, not bad at all considering the conditions.

Decided to go out in the arvo and give Kaleb some company, for a couple or six hours and it was hard work with dodgy wind. Wind really didnt play ball in the arvo and let us down. On and off the plane to much for a good 1hr Frown oh well finished of with a romantic dinner for two with Kaleb at the foreshore, all good fun!Cool

After the massive January the team has had with PB's rolling around everywhere it was only fitting that we top off the awesome start to 2015 by trying to steal the summer cup away from SA.  The plan was to get over 150km and get the ponits we need.  This plan some how turned into a distance mission...

Without going into too much detail, everything was going better than expected.  After strating around 6am  I had done 300km and had one 10 minute break.  It was 1.30 and kicked off the the next 100.  By 2.30 I'd hit 340 - 350 and was on track to have the 400 done by 4pm.  Then the wind went to  cr......  And that was that!

Isonic 90, viper 32, OD 6.2

Bad luck Steve and Russ.

Thanks Kazz and Jez for keeping me company, it was getting lonely up there

Man that was a wierd day up super early 4am start with Steve and Furgus in the dark off to South Arm set up in the dark and then exactly 2.582km up the shore line looking for wind with Steve the best part was seeing a pod of dolpins up super close. Super shame but not as big an adventuer as Steve...

Well done Furgus pays to bring a floater board. the rain and fog were so SUMMER 2015Surprised and man it is cold and no mojo about this morning.

we will get it next time ...

Best of luck Kaleb sorry we launched from the wrong side of the bay making it darn near impossible to back you up.
