Fangys float with Steve, Pete and gloria.

Used the 60cm board, with 20cm deltoid. Should have been the 65 big yellow. with the 22Deltoid, had my biggest sail though the 6.6 Koncept.

Very light so rigged big, hopping it would pick up.

Gloria,Steve and I had a lot of trouble getting on the plane but Waricle was running full lengths from the gravel, pit to Nairns.

I knew he had a smaller sail tham me and is heavier, so I was doing something wrong.

I had rigged for the expected wind increase, so mastrack full back for flat water and sail fully downhauled fo min drag.

Took me a while messing about bagging the sail out, adjusting harness lines to suit, and moving mastrack fully forward for max light wind planning area. So I eventually started planning.

Changed my posting routine, I've compared the normal head unit with the new arm unit.

As the new arm unit has the later M10 chip it's more accurate with more sats, even thogh it's on my upper arm and the head unit is of course on my headSo these posts ar from the arm unit.

M10 Arm unit on left, M8 head unit on right.

Tabou Manta 71, NP RSR Evo-X 7.8m, Elmo SS 42cm.

For a change feeling kinda ok (apart from the couple of purges)

Bit of breeze, questions were asked about rigging the 7.8, but it turned out to be the best option, lots of holes and lulls, and the occasional gust, but not overpowered by any means.

Tried for an hour, but let down by gybing incompetance and a fickle breeze.

Still lotsa fun

Good to see Annie venturing forth, getting some nice long runs going.
