First sail since mid December, so sail fitness not great. Best wind was on the first couple of runs then was lighter and more inconsistent then usual. Still great to get out in some flat stuff and getting Ian to the bank without his boat! I forgot I had snapped my 34 fin so was a bit lively when the wind was up.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU Erratic SE Wind, up and down throughout most of the session, turning South more or less at times. Low tide was quite high. It didn’t help with the chop unfortunately. Scared one turtle, one cormorant and caught one fishing line from someone fishing on the jetty. Out with Doc Martin who braved the outer limits beyond the Lead Markers. Joined later by Trevor B, Vando, Henry and one other small sailor. Still injured and now my right knee is aching because I replaced my Patio Roof. Woody 90L / Aero 5.0m2 / BP 26

Point Halloran, QLD, AU 97 F / 6.5 M6 / 29 TSW First time to go to cox bank from the car park. We missed the best of the rain squal but still good to get some flat water. Thanks Chris O for showing me how to get in and out to the bank.

Very nice work on your Speeds Chris. Terrific results in really up and down conditions. Waiting to see what Ian and Pete C come up with after today’s flights..
