We are at Lake Coorathaba near Noosa...Met Andrew, Cameron, Eric, Ken, and caught up with Geoff.

I finally rigged 7.4m and Andrew, Geoff and I went out at 4pm   Reminded me of Tinaroo.    Very little wind and chop a lot larger than wind and there

was plenty of  standing up.    Also with recent rain lake was overfull and just about pure fresh.     If we had rigged for Lyn as well I doubt if either of us would

have had a session.      Good powered campsite here with us and one Wicked Van in whole park.  I only went about half way across lake with my longest reach

3 klm.

back from nam and desperate for some wind. the seabreeze was pumping so headed down to north cott before work. rigged up a 6.6 koncept and mistral 95L slalom and 31cm fin.

there was a fair bit of weed playing havoc with my runs. had a ripper stack. one of those slow motion type over the front get offs. was fairly lumpy but sweet in between swells heading out to sea.

was really trying to crack the NM ocean and got pretty close. reckon the weed slowed me down.

Luca,

Congrats on getting that 30 in the ocean.  It always a benchmark you'll be glad to get when sailing open ocean conditions.  Good work on equalling your NM PB too.

Troppo, As Bob said above, we were gloating and you go and punch those numbers out. That's one impressive open ocean Nm. Looking forward to hearing about Mui Ne. Must have been intimidating to line up against those names in your first heat too.
