Quick 40minute lunchtime sail.  Wind was perfect for this combo although could have had a little more to go broad with.  Would have also like to stay out longer but time was up.

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU    Had a couple of sessions using 7.0 m NCX and 130l JP, but had trouble hanging on in the gusts.     Last session I used 6.0m Gun Tempo and 120l S/Cross.      A  good crowd as Hans has said.    I think the consensus was that everybody had a good time.    /

Blew off work for a nice B&J sail. Koncept 100, 5.9 Koyote. At the end, thought I'd be clever and sail over the last  shallow sandbar to avoid the walk into the beach. I unhooked and kicked out of the straps just in case, hit bottom and kicked the mast base hard, resulting in a badly busted up little toe and a trip to casualty for an Xray, tetanus shot and a roughly taped split down the centre of the toenail.

Hoping it won't cramp my style at Burrum.

Looks like I might  finally crack 1000K's this year. Pretty good afternoon considering. Nailed my first full on gybe, dropped 15-20 - thought I might come away with at least a PB for it, but the system knows best it seems. Had 24.99 on the dial, and couldnt quite crack 25.00 knots today and take Fast Freddy down a peg . Typical Tinaroo afternoon, up and down like a Wh...s drawers. Only got my peak in the last 10 mins of the afternoon and had to sail thru the tree stumps to make it happen. Up until then, it almost turned out to be a fizzer - sailing wise. Good to catch up with Grumpy Ed, Bob, Herb, Hans and Fred.

You would think I still believe in the Tooth Fairy going to Tinaroo hoping for an hour of good wind.

Quite a few there today from THE MOB ....all expecting the wind gods to look favourably on us!!

All was not lost ....got to catch up and gasbag as well as .....Billy did his first official 'jibe' with

witnesses on his EHD, Eddy tried a new board out , H1 and H2 (herby and Hans) the locals knew

what to expect and were not surprised at all. Hoppy Bob arrived a little later and added a few laughs.
