Better day today, not so choppy but still not a 'burrum day'. Got away with the 6.6 and a few pumps but the Hawk and 36cm fin felt at home today with the smaller sail. 

Troy pipped me as usual but not by much, considering the big gear.

Green Island, QLD, AU . SE winds 18-25 with the odd higher gust.

Super rough to begin with but around 245 really nice water for around 15-20 minutes then it got too shallow ...

Kel owned me today . I got stuck on 38.5 & couldnt go any quicker.He was recording high 39s on his iso speed board .

GI is a tricky spot to go fast -such a rough ride in to the speedy section then its all over in ~ 5-6 seconds .

Used the Iso 80  initially-had that horrible sensation in the first session that my front foot was going to come out of the footstrap at any time -agghhrrr ...

Tried the 2018 MANTA 98 2016 (nice) Tribals 29 31 & 27 as the water settled down .

Fun day with Cam, First session was going to be an Hour and alpha run but it was way to rough to keep on the power.

Arvo session was much nicer with the falling tide flatting the water out.

Used Isonic 80 and SS49, Overdrive 6.2 and Tribal 23,27.
