Another magical afternoon in Hervey Bay sailing with Geoff and Steve. Very similar conditions to yesterday with huge wind range and some very solid gusty 20kt plus bursts. Had 29.97 locked in as a 1 sec but just couldn't hang in and turn it into a 2 sec, but super stoked with the afternoon. Very happy with my NM today as is was at times super chopped up and I was just hanging in on a lucky gust.
Managed to miss any watery obstructions today which was a blessing as Mr Turtle was out there and so was a Dugong, wallowing around in the shallows. Super pretty place to sail with its own little intricacies. The extra length in the WTSB paid off , with a pretty smooth ride across the short sharp wind driven chop.
Any ways, two days of glorious weather and sailing, what's not to be thankful for - Used: WTSB72, 7.8OD M2, WT43
