Benny McCarthy (14648km):  2 categories   Holloways Beach, Tropical Far North QLD- Decided to head out for some salty goodness after camping offgrid at Davies Creek overnight. Ended up a fun little light wind arvo solo sesh off the mudpit on the big gear. Bit of dredging to begin with having to head a long way out to find the wind line. Scooted around for a few runs before noticing one of the main battens on the sail had popped loose so headed back in to shore for some maintenance. Corrected, let off a little downhaul and had a quick chat with a kiter practising with his new wing & foil board. Friendly chap even offered me a go on his kit but by this stage the wind had filled in closer to shore so I decided to give the offer a miss and head out for a few more laps with the corrected rig which felt so much better after tweaking. Had to punch in the numbers manually as KA72 site doesn't want to transfer the file atm- Track Details (ka72.com) Great way to wrap up the weekend! Used the Jag 125, Severne M1 8.6, Venom 48
