664 days ago 2 categories Holloways Beach, Tropical Far North QLD (in boardies- standard winter weather)... Fun little arvo sesh sailing off the mudpit with Tony "the Truckie"!
Wind looked half decent on arrival so rigged the Severne 7.8 OD M2 with the Jag 125 and 48 Venom. Tony had already been out for a good hour or so and came in for a quick break as I was setting up. Breeze backed off just as we headed back out so there was quite a bit of pumping involved to get going for the first half hour or so, then it started to kick back in again, although very Southerly and stronger closer to shore. Tony did a few more runs before calling it a day whilst I spent the rest of the sesh cruising around powered up for the most part opting for shorter runs & more gybe practice.
Wind 12~17kn S/SSE being my guess. Ended up just another beautiful day in Paradise! Maybe more tomoz!
