Well that was a humbling experience. Phil conned me into a high tide start and with gusty 20+ knots the place was a major washing machine. Struggled to get everything balanced in the big chop with the twitchy little sail and big gusts, so it was all a bit physical for post Chrissy fitness. Anyway, the 105 Fox, 5.5 Ezzy infinity handled things pretty well all things considered and I maaged to come in tired and happy and in one piece. Had a few reckless bearaways but couldn't crack the magic 30. Probably should have swapped to the CA and weedy for the last of the tide to chase a few extra knots but grip strength wouldn't let me.
