Tinaroo....We would not have rigged but our mate Derek offered his rig so I thought I might as well but only got one gust.  Still interesting to try another rig.

When Herby went out on Derek's rig I was offered to try out Garth's rig.      The one gust that came thru was mostly missed by me.

Still nice to get our toes froze.

Experimental day on Green Island -nice wind to around 21-22 knots, patches of smooth water on the Northern Speed Run for around 90mins...

Misread the condtions -rigged 7.8rssmk2 /Exo103tb/select 39sl7-felt terrible-not enough downhaul for wind strength ,adjustable outhaul difficulties ,front footstrap probs...

Came in & added 1.5cms downhaul, swapped board to Ca47/venom 30 fin.Managed some nice 5-10sec squirts but major problems holding ground on the speed strip -would bear off end up way out wide without enough fin to get back ...

Stunning day overall but disappointed with times ...

Locky sailed well but collected the reef on his last run at speed so major damage to our F2 sx/new 28cm venom...Expensive Sport !!!

Rigged up and waited at Yorkey's, when Kel started planing more than not I went out but only did 3 runs out as wind dropped again, of course when I hosed off my gear it picked up again but the motivation was shot. Good day anyway as the sun was shinning, it was warm enough and I met up with some mates and a new guy Smile But I will say this has been a crap year for wind Yell

except the nose, how would be the best way to do it? will i have to get some carbon fiber sheets and special resin or can i do it with glass??
