Nice day on Green Is.

Started with CA 47 RSS 7.2mk2 Venom 30 then as the tide retreated changed down to the 22cm maui ultra fin which actually gave me my fastest run.

Wind was solid 20-24 knots but flat water was lacking .

Tried the 7.8 RSS mk2 after lunch with ca47 & venom 30 again but couldnt go any quicker .Low tide on the Northern Run just wasnt low enough .

Had another Navi GT31 freeze -what an exasperating measuring tool this device is -thankfully the spare arrived last week so was in use ...

Catherine & Ella saw whales/we saw turtles & small Reef sharks

BEAUTIFUL DAY !!

WOW at last good wind and clear skies at Yorkey's, had a ball as best day in months on the coast Smile And boy do I love this Carbon Art Slalom, water was rough but the CA just ate it up Smile

No FNQM member can access this session via the Home Page but can do it via My Data so we can't read any comments Undecided

Congrats guys with all the PB's, I had a feeling a few were going to fall Tongue out

Carbon Art SL58, Venom 34 & Loft 6.8 Blade

Kurrimine Beach.    Used S/cross again with small fin because of low tides.  On water for 2 hrs with 7.0 NP.

Kurri using 6.6 02 and Screamer 105l...a bit tame compared to  results from about 100k to the north.

Hey Locky, sorry mate but I re did your session, something was wrong and locked this page up so no FNQM member could see anything after you Undecided all fixed now Smile

Ha Craig, I've had a few funny comments the last couple of years, no sand bar to follow so I just downwind for speed between chop & swell, turn up for awhile and bounce & crash against the chop, and then head back and do it again. As my old man would've said, like a mad woman's breakfast Wink

Lots of good numbers there guys - well done. Wish I could have been on Green Island with you guys and the wildlife rather than the very brown and gusty Swan river!

Nice PB's Kel and Locky.

We've had our four days of gentle breezes here, now we're back to days where the leaves don't even move.

Hey Dr Cam how did the 7.2 and 7.8m feel on the CA47. i have a  F2 Missille 48cm wide. I have used the 7.2m briefly but it was really choppy so it felt it was pretty out of control in 25knts. i have a 7.7m might have to give it a go.

Hi Ben -the ca47 handles both sizes without any dramas .THe issue i'm still trying the resolve is which fin ...

I find that out wide going for NMs that I have trouble keeping the pedal on in the chop but over the "speed sections"its always nice to be powered up -the bigger sails provide this .

Gybing these combinations is still a work in progress !!

Thnaks Cam. I have tried the Missile S with a 7.2m RSR and a 27cm fin and a 32 F1 it feels ok and was good in chop. Thanks for your input
