Sausage (22853km):  6 categories       iS90, 7.0RBlade, 33CL Sl2 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 13-22kn Challenging conditions to say the least. Water state was woeful and wind was incredibly gusty and swinging all over the place. A fair bit of slogging was done in close and once powered up there never really was any chance to push it. Had a few hairy moments and a couple minor offs but all in all an enjoyable session.

Spent a lot of time at this place ~ 32 yrs ago Great fun today.Started in the coffee shop with Vando -double shot latte with carrot cake then off to do battle . I had some nice runs off the wind to start with then found I was so far down wind I was struggling to point high enough to get back home .Decided to explore the NE sided of the Island then had a series of really powered up runs over to Lota (next bay around ).Got a nice gust in near the sand bar but super rough water so just had to grit teeth & hold on. Did the walk of shame at lunch time ~ 1 klm ,had some fluids & a sandwich & went out again .Saw the mighty B Rad in action along with Cocky 2 who was sailing really well . Sail cams just wouldnt rotate today so wasted some energy on the gybes but honestly the most fun I've had on the water for ~ 4 months so stoked . Thanks for the invite Vando | ||||||||||||||||||
