Green Island, QLD, AU Great Day on the island with Lach.Early session was fun but a bit more wind in the arvo 20-25 knots meant better numbers .

Used the iso 80 tribal sw 27 & the new NP LT1 7m2.Nice

Arrived at Holloways with Peter sailing and Kel setting up.

By the time I was on the water the wind had dropped a little but was still good fun.

Tried for one hour and by that time the wind was a little hit and miss.

Was reasonably flat inside but got a little lumpy out wider.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU A very feral breeze and I was overpowered - Ed texted me to say bring your 6m sail but I was already half way over and I couldn't be bothered going home to get it.  As it turned out I should have brought the thing.   I am having a bad run with bringing the wrong sails.  Ed was overpowered on his x-type 6.6 and his little board.  I had a couple of runs but my downhaul rope snapped - fortunately about a 100 metres offshore.  Managed to jury rig the thing and made it to shore.  Was still a bit wasted from yesterday's effort and the wind was picking up if anything - 25 knots gusting upwards.  I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and went home.  I will give it another go tomorrow and see if the Wind Gods are a bit less spiteful.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Got a late arvo session in Port..Wind was humming between 20to 25kts..Water was very choppy with some big rolling waves coming off the reef break out wide,Was maxed out on 97lt Isonic with 6.6m North rig cranked down hard..Did a quick fin change at half time from 38 to a 36cm ,settled board down heaps..Went as hard as i could till dark. Would of got my 75kms in but dropped a couple of gybes out the back and spent a bit of time' frigging around 'doing water starts in a very lumpy sea,Guess we do have to practice them from time to time...Board copped a real pounding today, but never put a foot wrong...It's days like today  that trash these super light weight board we all enjoy sailing so much..But as i say  they are here for a good time not a long time..  turned out a' fully pumped 'big kids session  good fun and a work out all in one...Two good sails in a row thats as good as it gets for me...Cheers Ed..
