Good session with Phil, Steve, Karen and Nick. Arrived and it was 25 knts and barely any water, so rigged 5.4 speed sail CA95 and weed fin. Breeze dropped 5 knots bythe time I finished rigging, so after an initial wallow changed up to the 6.5 Ezzy. Much better, sailed until it started getting way too rough, then swapped to the Big FSW board for the last half hour as the breeze eased further.

Exocet Speed Slider 135 Severne Convert 6.7 Black Project 47.5

Very rough & gusty conditions today.  Wind nearly blew my undies off a couple of times when the rain squalls came through!  I totally chicken'd out...  Pulled off a few deep water starts in the swell which was good.

Had a quick chat with a wave sailor when packing down (I've forgotten his name, damn it) - he mentioned he would have liked a bit more wind & waves...!!!

Spotted Kel's sail whipping along way over yonder past Machans just before heading off.  Tried to fathom just how one manages to get so far upwind!!

Planning a mid morning session at Tinaroo tomorrow to try out the Futura for the first time, weather pending.

Sandy Point, Vic, AU  Great sail in an 18-23 knot Easterly with a falling tide.Down in Melbourne catching up with my older kids & this nice little forecast popped up .Al (son) walked his wave gear over the dunes & had a great sail on a 4.5 out the front.

I spent 3 hrs chasing the lucky gust along the Eastern bank at the inlet .

Used the Iso 80 RSR E 7 6.4 Venom 32 .

Managed to briefly catch up with Daffy who looks as young/fit as ever !!Wink

Better sail today, not as rough as it had been. Still more bump and jump than speed but at least its a day out. Troy and a few other locals out today...good times.

Koncept 6.6, concept 100, carve 35

Yer good one guys good to see some action on the water. Has anyone heard much about the MW sails that have come out. Meant to have huge wind range and a air bladder very easy to water start. Maybe something to look at.
