FAntastic day out at the island with Benny "The Beast" Mc Carthy, and Freddy Burke. Billy turned up later on.  Rigged 7.2m V8 and Atomiq120 and played on the reef flats for three hours making the most of the benign tides.  Last half an hour the wind dipped down a bit and probably cost me a Distance PB, but no coral cuts this time.  Went home on the 2:30 - looking forward to reading everyone else's stories.  Ed and the boys are going to have another good one at GI tomorrow and I'll give fourmile a go.

Sensational arvo on the water with the lads....Fred, B2, Andrew and Boxy. Sun out, breeze was a little light but I reckon it was 18kts for the couple of hours I mangaed to get on the water mid afternoon. Left the water a happy man. Nothing to strenuous, just a nice warm up for tomorrow's session over here. B2 and Fred racked up some nice Km's with the possabiliy of a couple of PB's to come. Andrew was a machine, powering back and across the flats - real nice to see.

Concentrated on my NM runs today and felt comfy and powered up heading up wind to get to the top of the flats. Bit of a gamble early on as the breeze dropped away, so several attempts didint come to any huge avail. Happy with the result none the less and am looking forward to just a bit more horse power in the breeze tomorrow that has been forecast. Preyy sure everyone departed with smile. Well done lads.

Green Island with Benny,Andrew and Billy later in the day. Conditions were pritty good ...sun was out, wind was there, and tides were up.

I have got to congratulate Andrew and Benny ......both sailed very well today and even though the wind dropped/had a few holes they

sailed and sailed and both have improved so much.....just great to witness.Laughing Even though Billy arrived late he made short work of putting

a few runs on the board.....great effort Billy and hope tomorrow goes well.Cool I only took the trusty 6.6 with me today so after about half

an hour decided to go for distance.....may have been the right move.!!!  Maybe tomorrow Billy and Eddy with the winds increasing slightly

could have some great numbers.

Super fun day sailing with Freddo, Andrew, Billy & Boxy in our own little piece of Tropical paradise!

Freddo "the Majestic one" & Andrew were clocking up the k's today- both looked to be having a ball out on the water!  Billy (staying the night in a lux sweet) & Boxy joined us around lunchtime for a fun little afternoon blast- B1 sailed great as per usual!  Boxy might get a PB or 2...  he says he spent a bit of time on beach patrol, one could hardly blame him!!

Water was a bit choppy around the reef fringes and into the blue...   Wind hovered around 18 knots.  Wanted to crack 100k's today, but fell just short... should have gone for that one more last run!!!  I reckon Freddo will take 'man of the match' in the distance stakes...

Wanted to attempt a couple more downwinders but got rattled when seeing some swimmers a fair way out off the beach...

All being said, a great session had!  Pretty girls on the beach ~ Beautiful marine life ~ Birds fluttering...  What more could one ask for!!  Planning to do another GI session tomorrow...  will see how the ol' body pulls up!

Used Severne OD 7.8 Futura 122 & BP Sabre 42.5

"Long May our Big Jibs Draw!"  Cool
